Pheasant & Chukar Hunting
WILD PHEASANT HUNT
Join High Plains Wingshooters in Wyoming for a wild pheasant hunt! We have leased some great farms that have given us the opportunity to offer a limited number of hunts for wild pheasants. On this hunt you can expect to be hunting all types of cover from wooded river bottoms to open grain fields. This wild pheasant hunt can easily be combined with other hunts including the sharptail grouse hunt.
Our wild pheasant hunts are "exactly" that -- a truly wild pheasant hunt. We will not be supplementing birds on this hunt.The preserve hunting that we offer is a seperate package. We can, upon client request, do a half day of wild birds and a half day of preserve birds.
Hunters who prefer to hunt over there own dogs are always welcome. We have a kennel facility at the lodge for your dog. Hunters without dogs can expect to be hunting over guide dogs that include Labs and German Shorthaired Pointers.

PHEASANT/CHUKAR/QUAIL PRESERVE HUNT
High Plains Wingshooters has leased some great farms for our preserve hunts. These farms have the same cover that you would find wild pheasants! This high volume hunt is a fantastic way to improve your shooting skills. Preserve hunts are awesome for your young dogs or that special young person in your life! For the hunter who wants the sure thing this hunt has it all from pheasants to the faster flying chukar and quail!
As always these preserve hunts combine well with Canada Goose hunts, Duck Hunts or any other hunts that we offer. The greatest asset to a preserve hunt is that your not pinned down to the wild bird season dates. The preserve hunts can take place from Sept. 1 to March 31!
Hunters with there own dogs are always welcome. Hunters without dogs can expect to be hunting over guide dogs that include Labs and German Shorthair Pointers.
